Critically Analysis of Refugees

Question: Discuss about the Critically Analysis of Refugees. Answer: Introduction: The purpose of the study is to critically analyze the recent situation of refugees and migrants. Displacement of people has created a severe turmoil situation in the economic and political condition of the society. The study focuses on the negative and positive approach of the political bodies towards the increasing infiltrates and refugees from different regions of the world. A critical evaluation of the approach of governmental bodies towards the increasing cases of migration and refuge will be carried on. Critical analysis: As pointed out by Curtis (2016), 2017 shall be a worse year for the refugees and migrants compared to 2016. Refugee flee has long been a political topic in the West. Increasing migrants from the regions like Syria, Iraq, and Greece have been in headlines in the recent time. With the increasing number of human displacement, reaction of the government towards the situation has also changed. In order to curb the increasing migrants, government has taken steps to build walls and promised deportation to close the door for the refugees. Newly elected US President, Donald Trump has showed the cruelest approach to ban the increasing infiltration of refugees that has created a global stir in the recent time (Gregor and Heal 2015). Keeping a ban on the immigrants would not be the perfect solution to control the degrading condition of the recent socio-political situation. Reading Kirchgaessnder (2017), it has been found that with the increasing migrants, 28% increase in the number of families and individuals have been found due to increasing migration. Keeping the same instance into consideration, it has been assumed that 2017 shall be more challenging. In the view point of Curtis (2016), people are ready to welcome refugees but the governmental actions are harsh and cruel. In order to achieve short time success, the politicians have been found to practice inhumane approach towards the refugees and the citizens. If these situations are taken into consideration, it has to be said that the situation for the migrants is degrading in the recent time. The politicians and the government should be responsible for undertaking approaches that would benefit people. The degrading situation in the regions of Syria and other places has created huge distress in the society (Gregor and Heal 2015). If the government would not be supportive enough to these people then humanitarian concept would be lost. Several approaches have been made to help the voiceless and the disenfranchised people of the society. Focus has been made on to strive to bring about substantive and permanent improvement in their lives. As commented by Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon that we are one-humanity with shared responsibility. There has been a stir in the recent humanitarian interventions and the scale of humanitarian disaster has been growing since 2014 (Refugeesmigrants.un.org 2017). As estimated by U.N. the world conflict has displaced more than millions of people. These situations need to be checked with immediate attention. The humanitarian needs have increased 12 times considering the complex emergencies. It has become a common sight that the Syrian, Iraqi and the Afghani refugees are now entering in the European countries in huge numbers. Keeping the similar political situation into consideration, the government is found to spend bulk of finances on the issues of refugees rather than any other humanitarian programs (Kpozehouen et al. 2016). The spending includes detention programs, food vouchers, and integration and housing programs. This has automatically increased the spending of the government on the Syrians in international border than it is usually spend on them in their domestic border. All these instances are definitely going to affect the economic condition of a place whose political body happen to spend on these refugees and migrants (Curtis 2016). Therefore, there is no dilemma that the government has to keep a check on the overall situation and at times in-humanitarian approach has to be taken. Conclusion: With the detailed analysis, it has been understood that the situation of the world in terms of migration is declining. Understanding the perspective of governmental bodies in the interventions of the refugees and the migrants, it can be said that considering the economic and socio-political aspect, government has to take strict decision to stop infiltration. However, this way the humanitarian approach of government is lost. The detailed SBNC plan was developed in regards to the three critical transitions which Emma was undergoing through, the detailed plans were as follows; Difficulties which were associated with ADLs post strokes such as swallowing, the deficit in speech, the deficit in sensory balance and left side paralysis were found to be the main causes of the challenges which Emma was facing. Due to the deficit of speech Emma found it very difficult to convey basic needs. The deficit of speech. The therapist who deals with dysphasia had recommended her to a communication board so as to let her point to any pictures but due to the condition of ataxia which she had developed, it was difficult for her too to point the pictures. Emmas psychological distress which she developed while she was staying in the hospital. Speech in difficulties due to the development of the condition of dysphoria to Emma requiring special ways and modes which was to enable her to communicate with all those who were near her and also to enable her to convey about her needs. Psychological distress .tools which are used in an evaluationt5he level of distress which Emma suffered after the stroke. The level of trauma was assessed so as to stop further distress which Emma would suffer from. The multi-professional collaboration was necessary to identify the resilience strengths and skills of Emma and the level support which Emma may require that was the only way through which the ADLs were to be addressed. It was of great importance through which to take the feedback of Emma on the preference on the equipment which she would prefer using before they are purchased. The environment which surrounds Emma was to be modified according to her preferences and also the equipment which she was to use so as to avoid further injuries and complications. Emma was to be taught non-verbal techniques by the SBNC plan because the communication board did not teach her any form of communication which was to support her to communicate, the nonverbal techniques which she was to be trained included the use of gestures and touch to bodies which are near to her. It was revealed that the biomedical model of care was strictly followed in Emma so as to avoid other biological ailments but the model did not focus on the strength of patients during the care due to that the centeredness of the patient was missing since there were no feedbacks which were concerning the model. Emma was more satisfied with the care which was provided by the SBNC model because the model focused mainly on the factors which were relating to the well-being of the patients. RENAULT ACQUIRES NISSAN - Essay Example oblems for the management such as language problems, culture difference and also there was a lot of physical gap between both the countries physical process and also attributes of people. The alliance between both the companies did prove to be profitable for both the companies as Renault used Nissan plant in Mexico to build cars and Nissan used Renault’s plant in Brazil and also there distribution networks (RENAULT, 2014). But in the starting the management of the company faced a lot of problems related to the cultural difference among the two companies and in bringing together both the companies to work together. In 2005 Carlos Ghosn was appointed as the CEO for both the companies and the major task in front of him was to overcome the cultural differences. He was the leader of Renault which was a French company and the management of employees was easy their and he was a successful leader then, but the scenario was completely different in Nissan as it was a Japanese company. T he culture in the Japanese organizations are completely different as people in Japan look to work individually having a individualistic characteristics on the other which affected the company to work as a single organization as all the departments used to perform their duties in the perfect way but when the different department were made to work together the output used to never be a good one as there was no team work and unity among the employees. Swimming Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words

Swimming - Essay Example In addition, a literature review allows for the experience of swimming to be further examined and then related back to the interviews in order to provide more context for the act of swimming laps. Introduction and Literature Review The sport of swimming is defined by the luxury of water as it creates sensations of pleasure through the defined experiences of the physical exertion of swimming. In addition, there is a social component as public swimming areas provide a temporary, but somewhat closed system of society in which a natural hierarchy is experienced. The following literature review provides context for the exploration of the topic of pleasure as it relates to the event of swimming through primary research that has been done from interviews with two female swimmers who participate in the event of swimming on a regular basis. The discovery of pleasure centers in the brain give some meaning to the experience of pleasure as it is felt within biological creatures. Pleasure and sen sation are not the same thing because pleasure is a definition of a type of sensation. The philosophy of pleasure is tied to the physiology of sensation, but sensation is not always required for pleasure. Puccetti (1969) conducted experiments trying to define the pleasure centers and concluded that pleasure was within the brain and could be located. Despite the fact that he also found the center of punishment, and that a monkey would deteriorate quickly if the punishment center was stimulated repeated over the course of hours, indicates that there is more to punishment and pleasure through physical understanding of the event than can be found in philosophical discourse. Without the development of a way to understand how and why something creates pleasure, the idea that a physical component is involved is almost moot. Pleasure is a discourse as much as an experience (Puccetti 1969). It is the framing of ideas that result in something that extends into the social and cultural experien ce. For the purposes of this study, understanding that the physiological concept of pleasure is less important than the philosophical informed the research on the meaning of the experience over the sensation. The researcher could discern the difference between understanding why it create a feeling in contrast to what is involved in creating the sensation of pleasure in reference to the event. According to Busch (2007), the Hudson River is a place of deep history. In the late 1990s a team of scientists decided to create a sonar map of the river bed floor in order to investigate data relevant to marine life habitation. However, what they discovered was more than 200 wrecks that catalogued centuries of history from the time of the American Revolution, through the subsequent river tragedies. In addition, a 3000 year old wall that had been built at a time when the river was at a lower level was also found. In placing oneself into the water, leaving one’s own DNA trailing behind as one cuts a path through the water, a connection is made to the past and to the future. Each side of the river can be defined through space and time. The bank that one leaves is gone as the body moves through the water, reaching and striving for the other side in order to make a statement that
