Archaeological Exhibit in the National Museum of the Philippines
A Systematically Written Presentation Paper on the Archaeological Exhibit ââ¬Å"National Museum: Museum of the Filipino Peopleâ⬠The National Museum: Museum of the Filipino People displayed an immense collection of artifacts, relics and historical objects of the Philippines. It also housed fascinating and intriguing porcelain plates, coins, pots and jars, archaeological artifacts, jewelries, armaments and a whole lot more. The museum was divided into sections and galleries wherein one would get to know the Philippinesââ¬â¢ history from as far back as 40,000 years ago.The different galleries are the following: The Origin or Pinagmulan, Archaeological Treasures or Kaban ng Lahi, The Filipinos and Their Rich Cultural Heritage or Kinahinatnan, and the San Diego Wreck Exhibit The first three galleries were about the San Diego Wreck Exhibit located at the ground floor then continued onto the second floor. The San Diego was a Spanish Battleship that clashed with the Dutch's Mauriti us when the Dutch tried to invade Manila in the 1600ââ¬â¢s. The events on the ship were recorded in Antonio de Morgaââ¬â¢s book, Sucesos de las Islas Filipinas.The San Diego was originally a 3-masted trading ship built using different kinds of Asian wood in 1590 in Cebu. It was about 35 to 40 meters long, 12 meters wide and 8 meters high. The ship was said to sink near Fortune Island, Batangas, just off Manila Bay. The San Diego was originally known as the ââ¬Å"San Antonioâ⬠, a Spanish trading vessel. The wreck of San Diego was discovered at a depth of 170 feet. It was said to be the first ever wreck in modern times in which it was found as a result of communication among many civilizations.Underwater archaeology deals with recuperation and the study of archaic and ancient objects and pieces submerged underwater thus it was a big challenge and an ordeal for it needs a lot of funding. Nonetheless, loads of archaeologists and other people pursued the adventure of discover ing things underwater, like the San Diego Ship Wreck, for it continues to rewrite loads of our historic past. There were lots of recovered and salvaged artifacts that divers unearthed from that ship wreck such as earthenware, glassware, stoneware, ceramics, coins, potteries, jewelries, armaments and a lot more.The earthenware includes the palayok also known as a cooking pot wherein we still use nowadays. The blue and white porcelain remains that were recovered are said to be part of the leftovers from San Diego as a merchant ship. Examples of which were bottles and dishes. They were not removed even if the ship was converted into a warship. There were at least 1500 pieces of porcelain that were scattered all over the sunken ship. The designs on the porcelain remains were described to be of Buddhist and Taoist luck symbols.There were also gold and other precious objects that were found on the wreck site like some chains, rings, necklaces, and a carcanet also known as a jeweled collar . There were also religious ornaments that were found like small crosses, a rosary with ivory beads and medallions. Even if centuries underwater have destroyed most of the shipââ¬â¢s weaponry like breastplates and helmets, other tools and weaponries were also found on the wreck like hammers, padlocks, sea chests and swords though they were only recognized by the shape of their concretions.The tableware and silverware that were found consist of plates, spoons and forks, bowls and candlesticks. The design on the tableware remains were mostly ornamented with birds, cocks, geese and deer which were popular during the 16th century. The tableware found also implied the social status of those residing and working on the warship like the high-ranking officers used the silverware while the lowest-ranked ones used the earthenware bowls. The other parts of the exhibit showed the wreck site and fourteen of the full sized recovered cannons.There were ancient navigational instruments that were displayed as well such as sounding weights and a ruler. These were appropriate for comprehending charts and navigating in coastal waters. The astrolabe and astronomical ring, other navigational instruments though their exact function were not fully determined yet, were recovered from the San Diego established Europeââ¬â¢s rapid propagation of technology. Big durable Asian stoneware jars were also found and displayed where it was said to be used for storing food supplies, preserving liquids and for packing delicate objects.The types of jars that were found on the wreck were the following, Martaban jars, Dragon Jars, Vietnamese Jars, Siamese Jars and Spanish Jars. The biggest Martaban jar, stone wares that are globular or ovaloid with narrow wide or narrow mouthed and has a dark brown glaze that were made from red clay, for example was used for storing drinking water. Spanish jars, round bottomed elongated jars with a constricted neck and an inverted rim, were said to be stowed in rows and layers on a bed of straw.The said jars were used for storing olives and oil, dried preserved fruits and reused to hold some wine and for transporting tar. Siamese jars on the other hand were globular vessels that can carry up to 300 liters of fluids like water, wine and vinegar. Several jars were marked with the initials AB. It was said to be probably the initials of the owner of San Diego, A. de Belver. Those initials were also bluntly carved on some silverware on the wreck. The discovery of the San Diego has notably stretched our knowledge of the Renaissance period.The next gallery I came across was the Kaban ng Lahi or Acrhaeological Treasures. In this gallery, it showcased archaeological artifacts, utilitarian vessels and burial jar collections of the early Filipino civilization and varied heritage way back 750,000 years ago. The displays were unearthed from various cave sites in the Philippines. The gallery also presented the preparations of the dead and other burial practices of ancient Filipinos and their importance.The secondary burial was one of the practices which involved the re-burial of a dead personââ¬â¢s bones after it has decomposed. Other artifacts that were showcased were the Dugout Wooden Coffin, Effigy Jars, and lots of anthropomorphic jar covers. There were earthenware pots resembling forms of human figures that were displayed in the museum. They were said to be found in Ayub Cave, in Pinol, Maitum, Saranggani Province. The head-shaped covers of the jars depict different kinds of facial expressions such as grief, sorrow, happiness, joy and satisfaction.The designs of the jars also indicated the high level of craftsmanship of the people before. The Maitum Burial Jars were used for secondary burial and were dated to the Metal Age Pottery. The Manunggul jar was one of the most valuable jar collections. It was a secondary burial vessel as well excavated from a Neolithic burial site in Manunggul cave of Lipuun, Palawan. The discove ry of these vessels indicates that the early Filipinos believed in the life after death and other spiritual beliefs.Next up was the gallery of The Origin or Pinagmulan. The gallery basically showcased the origins of the Filipino Nation and the Philippine Islands as a whole. The display focused on the four periods of Philippine pre-history namely Paleolithic, Neolithic, Metal and Ceramic Age. The earliest evidence of the presence of the people during the Pleistocene period were implied by the discovery of artifacts such as stone tools and fossils of large migrating animals like giant turtles located in Palawan and Cagayan Valley.During the Neolithic Period, the gallery displayed various shaped stone tools which signified that early Filipinos paid more attention to polishing their stone tools. Metal Age Pottery on the other hand, was the display of burial jars which indicated the burial custom practiced by the ancient people of the period. Then again in Ceramic Age, the appearance of high-fired ceramics was the evidence of this age. This gave verification to the amplified nautical trade and cultural contact between the Philippines and other Southeast Asian neighbors.The last gallery which I encountered was The Filipinos and Their Rich Cultural Heritage or Kinahinatnan. The gallery basically presents the various cultures of the Filipinos. It focused on the Philippines crossroads and its diversity and tapestry of cultures. I was in completely astonished as I paid visit to the National Museum. It was my first time even. Louvre Museum, Paris 10:46 P. M. Renowned curator Jacques Sauniere staggered through the vaulted archway of the museum's Grand Gallery. He lunged for the nearest painting he could see, a Caravaggio. Grabbing the gilded frame, the seventy-six-year-old man heaved the masterpiece toward himself until it tore from the wall and Sauniere collapsed backward in a heap beneath the canvas. As he had anticipated, a thundering iron gate fell nearby, barricading the entrance to the suite. The parquet floor shook. Far off, an alarm began to ring. The curator lay a moment, gasping for breath, taking stock. I am still alive.He crawled out from under the canvas and scanned the cavernous space for someplace to hide. A voice spoke, chillingly close. ââ¬Å"Do not move.â⬠On his hands and knees, the curator froze, turning his head slowly. Only fifteen feet away, outside the sealed gate, the mountainous silhouette of his attacker stared through the iron bars. He was broad and tall, with ghost-pale skin and thinning white hair. His irises were pink with dark red pupils. The albino drew a pistol from his coat and aimed the barrel through the bars, directly at the curator. ââ¬Å"You should not have run.â⬠His accent was not easy to place. ââ¬Å"Now tell me where it is.â⬠ââ¬Å"I told you already,â⬠the curator stammered, kneeling defenseless on the floor of the gallery. ââ¬Å"I have no idea what you are talking about!â⬠ââ¬Å"You are lying.â⬠The man stared at him, perfectly immobile except for the glint in his ghostly eyes. ââ¬Å"You and your brethren possess something that is not yours.â⬠The curator felt a surge of adrenaline. How could he possibly know this? ââ¬Å"Tonight the rightful guardians will be restored. Tell me where it is hidden, and you will live.â⬠The man leveled his gun at the curator's head. ââ¬Å"Is it a secret you will die for?â⬠Sauniere could not breathe. The man tilted his head, peering down the barrel of his gun. Sauniere held up his hands in defense. ââ¬Å"Wait,â⬠he said slowly. ââ¬Å"I will tell you what you need to know.â⬠The curator spoke his next words carefully. The lie he told was one he had rehearsed many timesâ⬠¦ each time praying he would never have to use it. When the curator had finished speaking, his assailant smiled smugly. ââ¬Å"Yes. This is exactly what the others told me.â⬠Sauniere recoiled. The others? ââ¬Å"I found them, too,â⬠the huge man taunted. ââ¬Å"All three of them. They confirmed what you have just said.â⬠It cannot be! The curator's true identity, along with the identities of his three senechaux, was almost as sacred as the ancient secret they protected. Sauniere now realized his senechaux, following strict procedure, had told the same lie before their own deaths. It was part of the protocol. The attacker aimed his gun again. ââ¬Å"When you are gone, I will be the only one who knows the truth.â⬠The truth.In an instant, the curator grasped the true horror of the situation. If I die, the truth will be lost forever.Instinctively, he tried to scramble for cover. The gun roared, and the curator felt a searing heat as the bullet lodged in his stomach. He fell forwardâ⬠¦ struggling against the pain. Slowly, Sauniere rolled over and stared back through the bars at his attacker. The man was now taking dead aim at Sauniere's head. Sauniere closed his eyes, his thoughts a swirling tempest of fear and regret. The click of an empty chamber echoed through the corridor. The curator's eyes flew open. The man glanced down at his weapon, looking almost amused. He reached for a second clip, but then seemed to reconsider, smirking calmly at Sauniere's gut. ââ¬Å"My work here is done.â⬠The curator looked down and saw the bullet hole in his white linen shirt. It was framed by a small circle of blood a few inches below his breastbone. My stomach.Almost cruelly, the bullet had missed his heart. As a veteran of la Guerre d'Algerie, the curator had witnessed this horribly drawn-out death before. For fifteen minutes, he would survive as his stomach acids seeped into his chest cavity, slowly poisoning him from within. ââ¬Å"Pain is good, monsieur,â⬠the man said. Then he was gone. Alone now, Jacques Sauniere turned his gaze again to the iron gate. He was trapped, and the doors could not be reopened for at least twenty minutes. By the time anyone got to him, he would be dead. Even so, the fear that now gripped him was a fear far greater than that of his own death. I must pass on the secret. Staggering to his feet, he pictured his three murdered brethren. He thought of the generations who had come before themâ⬠¦ of the mission with which they had all been entrusted. An unbroken chain of knowledge. Suddenly, now, despite all the precautionsâ⬠¦ despite all the fail-safesâ⬠¦ Jacques Sauniere was the only remaining link, the sole guardian of one of the most powerful secrets ever kept. Shivering, he pulled himself to his feet. I must find some wayâ⬠¦ . He was trapped inside the Grand Gallery, and there existed only one person on earth to whom he could pass the torch. Sauniere gazed up at the walls of his opulent prison. A collection of the world's most famous paintings seemed to smile down on him like old friends. Wincing in pain, he summoned all of his faculties and strength. The desperate task before him, he knew, would require every remaining second of his life.

The organisational approach known as materials management has gained validity in recent years. Production and operations managers found it necessary to develop an organised body of knowledge related to planning, acquisition and utilisation of materials in the process of production and it has resulted in the discipline known as ââ¬Å"mate-rials managementâ⬠. All activities involved in bringing materials into and through the plant are combined under one head known as ââ¬Å"materials managerâ⬠. By giving the materials manager overall authority, responsibility is centralised to assure that the overall cost of materials is kept at the lowââ¬â¢est possible level. The basic rationale for this organisational change is to overcome the problems of conflicting objectives. For cample, purchase departmentââ¬â¢s concern to ensure continuous supply of component materials may conflict with he inventory control departmentââ¬â¢s objective to minimise inventory levels or the objective of shipping in full car load lots. Today organisations view procurement as a professional activity including activities involved in obtaining materials at minimum cost, transporting them and providing storage and moving toward the production process. Men, Materials, Machines, Money and Methods have shifted their positions from time to time in their relative importance. In the early days of industrialization, the focus was on men (labour) as they were the main source of productive power. Over a period of time, the emphasis shifted towards machines, which became the main source of industrial power after the Industrial Revolution. As the methods of production became more and more complex due to the increased customer demand for sophisticated products of high quality, there was greater need of efficient management to manage the complex production systems. In the early 1920s, purchasing and maintaining stock of materials was the responsibility of purchasing managers or ââ¬Å"chief controllers of purchasing and storesâ⬠in many industries. During and immediately after World War II the focus shifted on various functions associated with materials such as purchasing, receiving, inspecting, storing, preserving, handling, issuing, accounting, transporting and disposing surplus and obsolete materials. These functions grouped under one common head known as materials manager and the department responsible for all these activities came to be known as ââ¬Å"materials management departmentâ⬠. But the head of materials management department performed a staff function to support the production department and had to report to the production head (director of production) in the organizational hierarchy. The oil crisis of the 1970ââ¬â¢s changed the priorities of industries all over the world. The exorbitant hike in oil prices and the heavy budget allocations on oil made the industries to control their expenditure on the inputs, mainly materials of all kinds because of the large scope to reduce the expenses on materials. Since the beginning of 20th century, materials have been getting more and more attention and will continue to do so in the future also. Now a days material has* become an important and inevitable input of a production system since the cost of materials and cost on materials (cost incurred in purchasing and storing the materials) put together account for 50 to 85% of the production cost depending on the nature of the product and the type of the production system. Modern manufacturing organisations adopted systems approach to management, which resulted in the integrated materials management concept. All functions related to materials such as materials planning, purchasing, storing and inventory control were integrated under materials management function. The position of the head of the integrated materials management department was elevated to be on par with heads of other functional areas viz. production, finance and human resources. * importance of materials in manufacturing organisations Materials are any commodities used directly or indirectly in producing a product or service such as raw materials, component parts, assemblies and supplies. In the manufacturing organisations, the important inputs are referred to as 5 Ms viz. Men (Labour), Machines, Money, Materials and Methods. As evident from the chart above, 8 out of 20 respondents would prefer to have a mobile application that enabled them to make claims on Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).Ã¢â¬Æ' 4 It can be concluded that making claims on the health cover is a difficult experience hence international students would appreciate having it on their mobile phones to make such transactions easier. Event planning: The Southeast Asian Games Introduction to event The 2015 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 28th Southeast Asian Games or 28th Sea Games is a multi-sport event hosted by the city-state of Singapore. Sea games is held once in two years since 1959 and the first time is held in Thailand, Bangkok. The games are under regulation of the Southeast Asian Games Federation with supervision by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Council of Asia. The games are participated by 11 countries which are Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Brunei and Laos (28th SEA Games, 2015). Singapore is the fourth time has hosted Southeast Asian Games since 1993, after a 22-year long hiatus. As with event impacts, the event will be judged by its success in balancing the competing needs, expectations and interests of a diverse range of stakeholders. When asked the question ââ¬Ëwhat makes an event successfulââ¬â¢, there are now numerous shareholders that are key components of modern major events that are looking at a whole range of different measures of success. Thus, the stakeholders that I have chosen for discussion of the event impacts are the government and the sponsorship. The first stakeholders that I have chosen is the organizer of the 28th Southeast Asian Games, which is the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) as it relates to stakeholders of government of Singapore. The Singapore Sports Council (SSC) is the national sports agency responsible for engendering access, opportunities and capabilities for individuals to live better through sports. Deletions cassettes were transformed into the diploid reference strain BY4743 and the ncRNA gene replaced with the KanMX marker byhomologous recombination. Heterozygous deletion strains were confirmed for each of the 12 genes by extensive PCR analysis and showed positive results for the insertion of the cassette. Following sporulation and tetrad dissection to segregate haploid spores and growth on different selective media, 10 of the 12 ncRNAs were shown to be essential for cell survival by producing 2 viable spores. Following that two separated 96 well plates were used by filling each well with 10à µl of the RT2 a strain or RT3 à ± strain separately. Then 10à µl of the tested samples were added each well of the known strains. These were then incubated overnight at 30oC. Following incubation, metal frogger was used to replica plate the crosses onto deficiency plates without leucine and tryptophan. The incubation period was allowed until the colonies were able to be obtained on the deficient media. For crossing, 2ul of the stock spores were pipetted on to deficiency plates without methionine and deficient plates without lysine. This was incubated at 30à °C until the growth was determined. When all data of the deficiency plates and mating types was known, cross spores of opposite mating type and one defficiency was done by adding 10ul of each mating stock culture into an eppendrof tube and incubated overnight at 30à °C. Strain confirmation To confirm that the picked cells were haploid spores and that the cells were originally BY4743 yeast, all dissected spores were grown on different SD media. In some industries however, businesses still use price wars to undermine their competitors (Zhang Round, 2011). However, lowering prices for competitiveness is unsustainable in the long run and, as a result, many companies have resorted to other strategies to help differentiate themselves from competitors (Valipour, Birjandi Honarbakhsh, 2012).Ãâà According to Valipour, Birjandi Honarbakhsh (2012), traditionally, manufacturing organisations focused on products to the neglect of customer needs. However, this approach has changed and now, customer needs largely inform the product process (Kumar et al., 2011). The Adidas differentiation strategy is built around establishing the company as a premium qualit y and highly innovative brand that not only sells sports apparel but can positively impact consumer lifestyles (Kohli Jaworski, 1990). To achieve this strategy, Adidas has developed a number of highly innovative products and has also collaborated with high profile fashion designers to create sportswear that is both functional and fashionable (Adidas, 2016). The move has led many consumers around the world to use Adidas products as a fashion statement instead of for sportswear (Gebauer, Gustafsson Witell, 2011), which has seen the Adidas market share grow in line with its business strategy. As part of the Adidas product range, Adidas Pop will utilise a similar customer-centric differentiation strategy to set itself apart in the emerging markets of Asia. Despite retailing at a comparatively premium price, Adidas Pop will appeal to the targeted markets 19 to 29 year-olds who want to live the Adidas lifestyle. This differentiation strategy will require the input of the marketing and p roduction departments, as well as the RD unit to collect consumer wants and capture them in a product that accurately addresses their needs. To measure the success of the differentiation strategy, the organisation will evaluate the development and products costs with actual sales. 2. Alliances Strategic partnerships are vital to businesses, as evidenced by Adidas decision to form an alliance with Reebok to penetrate the North American market and outsource its manufacturing functions to third parties in China to cut on production costs (Evans Richardson, 2007). However, while strategic alliances are increasingly becoming a popular practice in the corporate world, they are not always beneficial to all involved parties (Hamel Pralahad, 1985; Tax Brown, 1998). For examp le, critics observe that after 11 years of an alliance, Reebok lags in sales, in which while the three other brands profits have been growing at 16 percent annually, for the same period, those of Reebok grow by approximately five percent (Adidas, 2016). In such cases, Buhalis Crotts (2013) suggest the use of partnership performance measurement systems such as the Balanced Scorecard to determine the financial and non-financial position of Adidas Pops potential allies. 3. Cost Leadership Developed by Michael Porter, cost leadership is a way of establishing a competitive advantage by keeping costs at the lowest level (Kaliappen Hilman, 2013) If the cost for Adidas products can be kept lower than those of Nike or its other competitors then it is possible to create a competitive advantage. Cost leadership is mainly internal-oriented as opposed to other competitive strategies such as the differentiation strategy that focus on the external environment (D. Banker, Mashruwala Tripathy (2014), cost leadership involves total costs control, in which, the production budget is solely focused on the most necessary processes. Adidas main competitive strategies are differentiation and strategic alliances. However, cost leadership will also be a useful strategy for Adidas Pop, in which the central focus will be total cost minimisation. However, the Gothic being didactic in nature uses these objects and practices to challenge and convey a certain moral agenda. In this essay, in the context of Charlotte Bronte'sJane Eyre and Bram Stoker's Dracula, we are going to explore the different objects and practices in these novels that are negative, irrational and immoral and show how they can convey a moral agenda. The blood transfusion scene in Stoker's Dracula of Lucy by Arthur Holmwood, Quincey Morris, Van Helsing and Doctor Seward depicts the controversies of polygamy. In page 225, Arthur claims that "he felt, since (the blood transfusion), as if 'they too had been really married and that she was his wife in the sight of God". This shows that Arthur, in Freudian terms, is already 'married' during the transfusion, along with the other men. If the idea of transfusing as a divine practice of marriage, the fact that, the other three men had also transferred blood to her would mean that they too have married her. This fulfils Lucy's desire of "letting a girl marry three menà ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦ as many want her", as it has been said in page 81. Voyeurism and rape, in which is regarded as an immoral act is also shown in Dracula in which the act of staking Lucy's heart is according Roth (199) is "relatively explicit and full of sexuality". When the stake is driven into her heart, she lapses into an orgasmic-like state, as it is quoted in page 277, "The Thing in the coffin writhed; and a hideous blood-curdling screech came from the opened red lips." Females being sexually open are regarded as immoral during the Victorian era. Many people think that Huckleberry Finn is a racist novel and they have even gone as far as banning the novel from certain schools. They base this view on the fact that the word ââ¬Å"niggerâ⬠is used very often and they see the black people being portrayed in a degrading way to show that they are inferior to the white society. Contrary to this idea, Huckleberry Finn is not a racist novel. Mark Twain actually attacks racism by satirizing the lifestyle of the white people and shows that they have no reason at all to think that they are better than the blacks. This satirizing of the white people is effectively seen in the portrayal of the king and the duke. Mark Twain starts to mock the king and the duke as soon as they are first introduced in the novel. Their appearance gives a negative impression right from the start. The king is described as having, ââ¬Å"an old battered-up slouch hat on, and a greasy blue woolen shirt,â⬠and heââ¬â¢s wearing, ââ¬Å"ragged old blue jeans britches stuffed into his boot tops.â⬠(Pg. 121) The duke is described as much the same. This first impression makes us feel as if these men are scum and we donââ¬â¢t have a very good perception of them. The second thing that these men do also is used to mock society in two ways. The first man (the duke) makes up a story that he was actually the Duke of Bridgewater. He said that he was the son of the infant duke that was ignored to take over a position. Not to be outdone, the second man (the king) makes up a story that he was actually the rightful King of France. Mark Twain uses Huck Finn to show what he thinks of these two men. ââ¬Å"It didnââ¬â ¢t take me to long to make up my mind that these liars warnââ¬â¢t no kings nor dukes at all, but just low-down humbugs and frauds.â⬠(Pg.125) These men are putting up a false front just like society does and Mark Twain shows through Huck that he can see right through this false front. The second thing that is mocked is the fact that these people pretend that they are royalty. Jim wonders why these men carry on so much and Huck tells him, ââ¬Å" . . .because itââ¬â¢s in the breed. I reckon theyââ¬â¢re all alike,â⬠and he also says, ââ¬Å"all kings is mostly rapscallions, as fur as I can make out.

Child Abuse for Human Sexuality Class Essay
This was a very sad documentary. Itââ¬â¢s sad that a child ever goes through something like that. Itââ¬â¢s sad that because of abuse from someone else, they feel they need to abuse others. Itââ¬â¢s sad that they donââ¬â¢t know how to love or let others love them. I wish that things were different in this world. I know it happens a lot though. Iââ¬â¢ve seen and heard about several cases like this and even met some of the children; because my aunt worked for Head Start (they work with CPS), and because a couple of my ex-boyfriends were in situations like this. One of their adopted parents was a foster parent to several children who came from abusive parents. Also I live three houses down from a family with quite a few foster children. Iââ¬â¢ve also had a few friends that were abused when they were little and then adopted. One of these friends had to go through a lot of therapy and counseling for some of the emotional scaring. This helped, but would never make him forget what had happened to him. He was not a very trusting or loving person toward anyone, and could be very aggressive and abusive if provoked even by the smallest thing. Self-esteem is one of the most important things a child can have and get from their caregivers, and it is also a very hard thing to change from negative to positive. When parents are abusive the child almost definitely will have a negative self-esteem. This causes life long problems for any child. This world is a scary place and to think that some children are born into families where they canââ¬â¢t feel safe makes it a sad place too. I wish things were different, but since they arenââ¬â¢t we just have to hope that we can help as many people as possible and get children out of these situations as soon as possible.
